The Kiev Zoo will host the “Wolf Day” event

On Environmental Protection Day, the Kiev Zoo draws public attention to environmental problems and the conservation of wildlife. Wolf Day opens a series of events that will be held throughout the summer, because the Kiev Zoo has joined the awareness-raising campaign of the European Association of Zoos and Aquariums (EAZA), which this year is dedicated to the predators of the local fauna. Wolves in the Kiev Zoo lived and were exhibited traditionally throughout its centuries-old history. Today, a pair of wolves live in the zoo, which were brought from the Rivne Zoo in the late 90s. Our wolves live in a spacious enclosure with a lot of vegetation. They love to dig holes, and often “sing” in the evening and at night. On this day, everyone can learn more about these predators from zoo staff and take part in instant zoo quizzes for children and adults. Visitors can expect outdoor games with animators and body art. We invite you to a celebration of environmental protection at the Kyiv Zoo for a good rest and pleasant communication!
