The American company Tempt In-Store Productions, which provides printing services in various fields, announced that in the near future it will purchase a KBA Rapida 205 printing machine. A special feature of this equipment is that that once installed it will be the largest sheetfed offset press currently in operation in the world. The order for the KBA Rapida 205 has already been placed.

Tempt In-Store Productions is one of the divisions of Quad/Graphics, a large multinational printing conglomerate, specializing in the production of a wide variety of large format advertising designs .

The new equipment, which will soon be installed at Tempt's production sites, will be used for large format printing - banners, posters and spreads for POP/POS products, the format of which does not exceed 151x205 cm. Among the advantages of KBA The Rapida 205, which is especially noted by company representatives, is equipped with a machine that allows the implementation of an impressive range of automated options, which include, for example, UV drying and automatic plate change.

Gioela Quadracci, President of Quad/Graphics Corporation, believes that the acquisition of the world's largest new sheetfed offset press will allow the company to offer retailers and advertisers a new, expanded range of marketing solutions available through a single-source partnership.

In recent years, Tempt has been actively expanding its production capacity. In particular, another KBA printing machine was recently purchased (printing width up to 164 cm), as well as several digital machines Inca S50i and Inca Q40i for sheet-fed wide-format UV printing. According to company representatives, all these actions are aimed at creating a large production and marketing platform that will allow customers to receive the best modern solutions.

Despite the fact that Tempt’s main production facilities are located in the United States, the manufacturer does not hide its focus also on international customers, for which the resources of divisions located in Europe and Latin America are attracted.

The world's largest offset sheet press, KBA Rapida 205, will begin operation this coming summer.
