Social project for graduates of printing universities from WOLF Printing House: “A printer is a calling”

It is known that the doors of the WOLF Printing House are always open to visitors: pupils, students, clients and just friends. We are happy to tell you in detail and show how the processes of printing and post-printing processing of printed products actually take place.

Today there was an excursion for 4th year graduates of the Publishing and Printing Institute at KPI. Specialists from WOLF Printing House spoke about the technologies and techniques of offset printing. They showed what methods of assembling printed products are used in the printing house, how die-cutting and folding of printed products occurs, and conducted a master class on the production of CTP forms.

The students were most interested in the post-press shops. Sheet selection, lamination, cutting, assembly are important post-printing processes that future printers were able to see and “feel” by enthusiastically watching the work of post-printers. The graduates actively took photographs and participated in the discussion of the process of assembling calendars, which was taking place at that moment.

At the end, the results of the excursion were summed up, everyone was able to ask questions and share their impressions of what they saw. The students were presented with branded printing products (3D postcards, printing brochures, fans, postcards, calendars) using the exclusive TWIN-SPOT selective varnishing technology and invited to visit as future specialists of the WOLF Printing House.
