Printing house Wolf begins production of plastic money

The Central Bank of the Federal Republic of Nigeria entered into an agreement with Printing House Wolf to print the national currency, the naira.

Specifically for the production of polymer banknotes, Printing House Wolf installed a new KBA Genius 52 printing machine, which allows printing with UV inks on a special polymer material.
The launch of printing banknotes in denominations of 1, 5 and 10 naira is planned for January 2015.
