Printing business in India

Today there is a lot of talk about the printing industry in countries such as the USA, Great Britain, France and Poland. We will tell you what is happening in such an agrarian-industrial country as India.

Why India, please? In my opinion, the economies of Ukraine and India intersect on several levels (both states are agricultural and are in the active process of developing their economic potential). According to trusted sources, the printing business in India is growing at a rate of 12% per annum. Just imagine that the current annual turnover in this segment is about 11 billion dollars. and continues to grow. The printing business has reached its zenith in the last couple of years thanks to the advancement in automation. Indian printers today are equipped with the latest computerization of printing machines that help in faster and better printing. Today, UV printing and inkjet printing technology is also gaining momentum in the Indian state. The emergence of global brands, rising consumption and the growth of the pharmaceutical industry are driving development and rapid growth in the field of packaging printing. If we analyze the situation, according to forecasts for the development of the printing segment, packaging printing is growing at an average of 17% per year, offset printing at 10% and digital printing at a stable rate of about 30% per year.

If the Indian economy continues an increase in consumption and demand due to the creation and introduction of new global brands and the opportunity for foreign investors to participate in the development of the segment (since 1990, thanks to reforms in the economy, business privatization and integration into the global economy became possible) for the growth of this industry.
