Find out how good a marketer you are

Take a few tests that we will cover in this article and test your marketing skills. No, we are not suggesting that you take a test on your knowledge of marketing theory, but are giving you the opportunity to find out how well marketing is organized in the company.

Can you prove the effectiveness of your marketing message? Are you collecting information for a separate marketing project? Do you have ways to track advertising effectiveness? If yes, plus one in your favor.

Can you prove what you say about the company in advertising materials? If you are asked a question: Show me some evidence, we don’t take your word for it. Can you convince in 3-5 minutes of the superiority of your company? Any advertising campaign is based on facts. In no case should you exaggerate, because honesty and decency are the key to successful marketing. If you can prove the message of your marketing strategy, give it another plus.

Can you answer to the decimal point what the goal of your marketing campaign is? Do you test your advertising messages on your target audience? Do your advertising projects explain:

- what benefits the client receives when working with you?

- what the client will receive, what service and where it can be ordered?

- is everything clear for the client in your message?

If your marketing campaign answers all these questions, then yours is a plus.

Compliance of the advertising message with the corporate style of the company. This test is very simple. Take a brand book of 5 companies (can be competitors) and 1 designer product from each of these companies. Remove (hide) company names and logos. Show your target audience and ask which layout belongs to which company. If you are recognized, it’s a plus in your favor.

Now count the pluses. If you have 4 out of 4, you are doing an excellent job. You are a marketer, not just an advertising manager.
